Legal Framework
The Black Pearl Awards are committed to ensuring fairness, transparency, and integrity at every stage of the competition. To protect both participants and the reputation of the Awards, we have established a clear set of rules and guidelines that all entrants must follow.
These policies outline the conditions of participation, how personal data will be handled, and the rights associated with images and media captured during the event. By registering, every participant acknowledges and agrees to these terms, ensuring that the Black Pearl Awards remain an independent, chef-led benchmark for excellence in caviar.
Rules & Regulations
Participation is open to caviar producers, brands, and special selections, provided all entries are CITES-compliant and fully aligned with applicable international and Swiss trade regulations.
Each participant may submit an unlimited number of caviar entries for evaluation.
All samples must be received between February 1st and March 5th, 2026, and must strictly comply with cold-chain requirements.
All products are evaluated through strictly blind tastings conducted by the official jury.
The jury’s decisions are final and binding; no appeals will be considered.
Logistics, shipping coordination, customs formalities, and any related costs are handled by the participant, in accordance with the Awards’ guidelines.
The organisers reserve the right to disqualify any entry that does not meet eligibility, quality, integrity, or documentation standards.
Participation in the Black Pearl Awards is subject to the Official Regulations and Conditions of Participation.
